Powder Coating Systems
Finishing Machine engineers new powder systems to the customer's specifications. We then fabricate new powder systems in our facility, and have the capabilities of installing that powder system or working with the customer's employees to install the system.
Used Powder Coating Systems
Finishing Machine has in its inventory complete powder systems for inspection and purchase. We deal with several machinery dealers around the country, along with hundreds of customers that we have installed powder systems for over the last 25 years. We have a wide variety of used powder systems, both like new and older systems.
Re-engineered Powder Coating Systems
Finishing Machine has many used powder systems in its inventory. If a customer contacts us with a need for a powder system with a certain work opening and line speed, with a specific powder booth in mind, we can find the booth and the equipment that is closest to what they are looking for. We then bring the powder equipment back to our fabrication facility and modify the powder equipment to meet the exact specifications of what the customer desires. Installation is also available, or supervision of the customer's crew. |

A+ Quality Powder Coating System
This system has just become available, and will be available for a short period of time. This system consists of a five stage, completely stainless steel young and perky washer, with a work opening of three feet wide, six feet tall, with a 24” conveyor slot. The unit is set up for 14 to 16 feet per minute. It has a nine foot entrance vestibule, with the other drainbacks being 10’ long. Stage one has 2215 gallons, heated with a Maxon Tube-o-Flame burner and IRI coded gas train. Stages two and four are rinse cycles that have 1000 gallon tanks. Stage five is an RO or DI unit with an 800 gallon tank. This unit is complete with man doors in between in stage, dock lights, exhaust fans, CPVC and PVC piping with snap-on nozzles. The unit is in absolutely excellent condition.
The dry-off oven sits over the top of the curing oven, and is 46’ long and 11’6” wide. The burner box is in fed, and features a Maxon Ovenpack and IRI coded gas train.
The conveyor system is an X458 on 24” centers, and has at least 800’ of travel. It also is complete with drive unit, take-up, many turns and elevation changes.
The powder booth is a Gama Cyclone single color with PCG-1 guns with eight automatics and one handgun. This unit painted only black and clear. The booth appears to be in excellent working order.
The curing oven is 50’ long and 30’ wide, with seven + serpentine curves. It is elevated but could be put on the floor easily. This is the rare type of equipment that you could remove and reinstall, and go to work the next day, it is that nice.

Two Nordson Powder Booths
We have two booths, both are the Nordson 2000. Both booths are manual
spray gun but can be change to automatic spray guns. Both units are complete.
The openings are 6' 3'' tall by 4'wide. The opening starts at 27'' off finish floor. The gun opening are 5' by 291/2'' and a door that closes to make it 3' by 291/2''.
The booths have one roll away color module and feeder and the whole thing rolls on and off line by track and wheels.
There will be two guns per booth, some gun spare parts, two gun controllers, two spray booth platform that can be rolled back and 4 or 5 filters. We have a spare motor that will go with the first booth that is purchased. If you have any more questions please contact us.

Chain on Edge Powder Machines
Chain on edge powder machines have just become available.
First is a 1998, Nordson 504-COE, Guns 3 model APG2000, exhaust fan 152 fpm, fire detection sensor. Oven=2700 spindles, chain 900 ft., natural gas 1-5 psig, 1600 scfh @ 1000 btu / scf, 1,600,000 btuh, max temp 600 F. Recir 25,000 cfm, exhaust 1202 cfm @ 1.5 hp.
Second is 1997 Brinks Booth, Guns 3 Model APG2000, exhaust fan 152 fpm, fire detection sensor, oven = 2700 spindles, chain 900 ft., natural gas 1-5 psig, 1600 scfh @ 1000 btu / scf, 1,600,000 btuh, max temp 600 F. Recir 25,000 cfm, exhaust 1202 cfm @ 1.5 hp.
Third is a powder coat system with one booth and two ovens. 1999. Brinks Booth, Guns 4 Model APG2000, Exhaust fan 150 fpm, fire detection center. Oven = Natural gas 1-5 psig, 1600 scfh @ 1000 btu / scf, 1,600,000 btuh, max temp 600F. Recir 25,000 CFM, Exhaust 1201 CFM @ 1.5 hp. Chain #1 = 2550 spindles and 800 ft. Chain #2 = 2500 spindles and 800 ft.
